Are you a parent? Do you know a parent?
Do you struggle to find enough time in the day to get everything done?
It's so easy, especially for mom's to become so stressed and worn out running around (sometimes like a crazy person) trying to get everything done.
I want to share with you something I heard recently. It's probably not new information, however it's super applicable to just about everyone!
And, this strategy can help you be more productive, happy, healthy and successful!
How to Be More Productive & Less Stressed
I watched a video from Eben Pagan yesterday regarding time management and some of the daily practices of highly productive people.
He used an illustration that brought me back to science class in Junior High – he had a bucket, big rocks, little rocks and sand – you’ve probably seen this illustration before. Basically the concept is – in order to fit everything into the bucket you have to put the big rocks in first.
This concept applies to life as well. You have to put the most important things onto your schedule first or your day will be filled with other people’s stuff.
What are your ‘big rocks’? What are your priorities for this month or this week? For today?
If your health is a priority for you (and I hope it is!) it’s important to put the things that keep you healthy on your calendar first (working out, shopping for healthy foods, Chiropractic etc).
Once you have the things that are most important to you arranged – then you get to fill in your days with all the other stuff that’s important as well.
It can be so easy to see a whole year slip by without accomplishing what we set out to do. It’s so easy to get caught up in the stress and the million little things that are on our ‘to do’ list (the list that’s never ending and probably a mile long).
As we go continue further into 2019, take the time to decide what’s most important for you to accomplish daily, weekly, monthly and yearly and make an effort to do that first!
This will lead to a more fulfilling and productive year for you.
It’s time to take yourself and your health off the back burner. Take a stand for and invest your time and energy into yourself and what makes you happy and healthy this year.
As ‘the minimalists’ from another blog I read a few years ago said “Investing in yourself is always a good investment.”
Chiropractic is an essential part of your healthy lifestyle. Benefits can include improved sleep, decreased stress, improved immune function, less anxiety, less pain and suffering and improved concentration just to name a few.
When your spine is aligned and your nervous system is functioning properly you have greater potential to create health! I invite you to come and discover how Chiropractic may be able to help you and your family be healthy.
I’d love to hear from you! Please email me your questions, requests or share your story. You can also follow Gentle Hands Healing Centre on Facebook or share this message with your friends and family!
Until next time,
ps — While you might not be a stressed out parent, if you put your health at the top of your list of priorities for this year, let’s have a conversation. And if you know someone with a sensitive child, please share this message with them!
