Movement and Your Health

We have become a very sedentary culture with many of us desk bound all day and then too tired to do anything save sit on the couch when we get home in the evenings.  Even children are spending less time outside running around and more time inside playing with technology.
 
This inactivity along with the use of technology can create havoc for both our posture, which some researchers say is the beginning of every disease process, and our body as a whole.
 
So, how does movement affect you?  Movement keeps you healthier, it keeps your muscles toned and helps you release stress and concentrate better.  It helps you metabolize your food and maintain a healthy weight.  It also helps your body feel better!

Spring is the time to Bloom!

As we approach the beginning of spring what comes to my mind is about new beginnings.  As I've been out I'm noticing the beautiful pinks and whites as the trees begin to bloom and prepare for spring.
